Seebold began racing powerboats when he was eight years old. Following in the footsteps of his father, boat racing legend, Bill Seebold, Jr, and his brother, Micheal, Seebold made his mark in outboard powered Formula 1 tunnel boats. After a 44 year career, Seebold retired in 2016, ending the Seebold racing dynasty that had begun with Grandpa Bill Seebold in 1939. But the youngest Seebold’s resume held its own against that of the elder Seebolds as he amassed 19 North American National Championships, seven Formula One National Series Championships, induction into the prestigious APBA (American Powerboat Association) Hall of Champions, and the most total Formula One race wins (37) in US History.

Seebold’s legacy in F1 racing continues today, outside of the cockpit, as the Managing Director of the F1 Powerboat Championship Series.
