Rusty Wyatt, a Canadian F1 racer, recently joined the Sharjah Team for the 2024 UIM F1H2O World Championship season. Previously owned by four-time F1 Champion Scott Gillman, the team now boasts Gillman as its acting Team Manager.

Wyatt made a splash in the international racing scene, securing a rare rookie victory in his debut F1H2O race on Lake Toba in Indonesia. His daring move from the outside lane during the final stretch earned him the coveted checkered flag.

Before his F1H2O success, Wyatt, a 28-year-old elevator technician from Innisfil, Ontario, Canada, was honored as the 2012 Canadian Boating Federation’s Rookie of the Year in the T-850 category. His talent continued to shine, clinching High Point titles in both 2013 and 2015.

Wyatt's journey didn't end there. In 2016, he emerged as the top rookie in the Superleague Tour. Last year, he secured fourth place in the US F1 Powerboat Championship Series, with his standout victory at the Loto Powerfest on the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.

Wyatt's story is one of determination, skill, and a passion for speed that transcends borders.
