Eddie McPheeters, based in Tucson, Arizona, is the proud owner of Eddie’s Inboard Marine, a premier destination for restorations, gel coat refinishing, and repairs. Taking the reins from his father, Eddie, in 2001, McPheeters, a self-proclaimed "V-drive guy at heart," has emerged as a leading expert in vintage Mandella Boat services, covering repair, restoration, and performance upgrades.

Recently showcasing their expertise at the Parker Enduro, McPheeters and his team piloted the 1972 Mandella, named Brown Sugar, securing a 1st place trophy in Division IV/GN Class and an impressive 5th place overall. This victory marked McPheeters's second Enduro win, with his co-driver and friend Tyler Stevenson, who previously triumphed in the Parker 300 Enduro in 2006 with a 1968 Mandella powered by a 427 Ford engine.

As a second-generation Mandella guru, McPheeters inherited his passion from his father who initiated the family's interest in Mandellas back in 1964 when he purchased his first one. This passion led to a lasting friendship with Lou Brummet, then the company owner and legendary endurance racer. McPheeters’s involvement with Brummet extended to crew membership at a marathon race in Miami’s historic Marine Stadium, and he later became the Tucson area representative and a dealer for Mandella Boats.

The enduring Brummet/McPheeters partnership continues, now involving the next generation. Carson, Brummet’s son and the owner of Brummett Marine Engines in Pasadena, California, played a vital role in the success of the Eddie’s Inboard enduro entry. Brummet's expertise contributed significantly to the race setup and build, featuring a 427 Chevy engine with an exotic/vintage Lucas mechanical fuel injection.
